Etter lang dekantering og begge hendene på glasset fikk vi en lang frisk smak av sjokolade, bær og tobakk. Smaken og opplevelsen sitter i lenge og vel. En stor opplevelse.
A very well made, balanced and elegant wine with lots of power, made of 100% Nebbiolo from the Bric del Fiasc vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, made by one the best producers today: Paolo Scavino. The wine received
96/100 points from Robert Parker and is one of the best Barolo’s in 2004.
The grapes of the Fiasc vineyard are vinified seperately and the wine ages for 12 months in French barriques and 12 months in large oak casks.
Pairs very well, with brassato, wild duck, boar, truffle, and risotto with mushrooms. Drinktemperature is 16-17° C. Drink until 30-40 years after the year of production.
